We are the distant relatives to the VonHardsing line. The writings have been passed down through the generations and the story continues. Nobody can say for sure if Dierichter VonHardsing is alive or dead! We believe he is living in and through the good or evil of men! Have there been sightings in the past, you ask? The answer is YES! They are recorded in the writings. Have we seen him, not personally, but some report a strange being within The Haunted Courtyard.

From the journal of Adelrik Hengist:
On a night many years ago a young man named VonHardsing was walking home from courting his soon to be wife.
“The cool night air and the full moon made for a wonderful walk home that seemed to be anything but out of the ordinary. As we entered the town courtyard he said he saw a shadow moving from the corner of his eye. First to the right, nothing; then we heard a shuffle on the left, a quick snap of his head, nothing! We began to hurry through the courtyard as we remembered the stories of how people have gone missing in this very courtyard in recent months. He heard footsteps behind him, he turned to look but saw nothing, still hearing the footsteps getting closer we decided to run. Just as he lunged forward to pick up speed, he ran into what seemed to be a person……...but there was nothing to be seen there. Suddenly what we couldn’t see picked him up and carried him off into the night! I’m not sure why they left me there, unscathed, maybe to witness their power. I can still hear the screams of torture and sometimes even hear his voice when the night air is just right and the moon is full. I know this because VonHardsing was my friend; I was there and witnessed with my very own eyes! This courtyard is HAUNTED and you should never travel through there at night alone!”
